Unintended Consequences of Anti-Discrimination Laws

It is not beyond basic reasoning to establish that the premise of this new law is foolish. In some states laws have been passed where it is now possible for a job seeker to sue a potential employer if he/she is not hired based on the fact that they perceive that they were victims of discrimination, for being unemployed for a long period of time. This is totally ludicrous.

Dan Mitchell from the CATO Institute tries to explain (to a supporter of the law) the unintended and logical consequences of this law, more unemployment!
